Did I mention I have brought my Mom ? Her and my Father the most supportive people in my life – encouraging  me on in my crazy ideas and there to catch me if I fall – this trip to Rome I decided to bring her as her connection to Rome is strong – and also wanted to share with her this magical island -Capri- I rented us a villa – apparently a 15 minute walk from the piazza , there are no cars allowed on the island – and the paths above the piazza are small and winding filled with fuchsia and purple boganvilla -figuring my mom a great walker already would have no problem here – the villa was situated at the top of the hill and was the equivalent of walking Park Ave  ( if u know Laguna) ok maybe I’m exaggerating a bit , ask her!!!! We meet my dear friend and sometimes partner in crime Carmella at the piazza for drinks and to watch the fashion parade – I am inspired mostly by the men dressed in pinks, oranges and corals – sherbet colors – light blue or white tight pants to the ankles or just above with no socks and loafers S E X Y –

Our big day spent at La Fontinelli – classic Caprese – and a beautiful day swimming in the silver blue water that’s thick and salty like no other 76 degrees –  it is irresistible and I didn’t want to get out – yet a fabulous lunch was calling us of their famous squash blossoms and zucchini pasta – oh yeah and the sangria!

A boat ride back as we just couldn’t scale the mountain up – my Mom such a sport , didn’t complain at all and a few more drinks in the piazza and we were thrilled to get back for a night cap at our beautiful villa despite the walk – laughed all the way – a really nice healing time before my fittings for the show most the day Friday and Saturday and the event itself Saturday night and a few friends meeting us in Rome, -a fun party afterwards with trouble to be found .im sure!
